Start a Treasure Hunt with Indiana Jones
Looking for a new idea for a couples shower? Base your theme on a current movie and watch the fun begin. This theme idea is a great way to mix your guests so they all meet each other before the wedding.
How about an Indiana Jones party?
Try a Treasure Hunt:
- Divide your guests in teams (making sure to mix the teams with people who don’t know each other) and
- Send each team on a search for the clues you have pre-planted at your location or make it a Road Rally with locations based on the movie. For example, try to find a restaurant called “The Indiana” or a bar call “The Canteen”. Send your guests to a “desert” or “The Boulder”. Most business owners will be glad to join in the party, or you can base the clue on the business name.
- The last clue should bring your guests back to your location where you have “buried” or “hidden” the treasure which, of course, is not a Crystal Skull, but is your gift to the Bride and Groom!

Building a Star-Studded Atmosphere
