Don’t forget the grownups. Chances are you’ll have more adults at a child’s first birthday party than you will have kids.  Plan ahead by ordering extra paper goods for them.  Finger foods or deli trays usually work best for the moms and dads at your party. To save money, create your own cold cut platters with meats, cheese, condiments and rolls.  Don’t forget the soft drinks.  Be sure to add about 2.5 cups per adult to your cup order..

You may want to select solid paper goods for the adults. Solids can be coordinated to match your party theme, are usually less expensive and the leftovers can be used for other occasions. Set your tables with heavy-duty plastic tableware!
